Hannah Wilson
In
the spring of 2006, I received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Hospitality
Business from The School of
Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. Over my four years at MSU, I
served on the board of three renowned student-lead events, I studied abroad in
India and Dubai examining the international hospitality industry in those countries. All of these experiences, as well as, my
degree from the top nationally-ranked public institution in the industry
provides a solid foundation in event planning, event production, marketing and
management. I spent 4 years in Kansas City working for a large international non-profit organization that encourages
and equips women, my experience included: overseeing all the national and
international events planned by the ministry, serving on the ministry’s
marketing team, and overseeing all of the operations of the retreat center
based at our headquarters. While in
Kansas City I also served on the founding Board of Directors for a non-profit that
feeds the homeless and food insecure in Kansas City and the surrounding
areas. I also helped launch & lead a
high-end fundraising gala for the predominant pregnancy care center in the
city. After moving back to Colorado in addition to starting a coaching career at Jefferson Academy as the Goalkeeper & Varsity Assistant Coach for their top-ranked girls soccer team, I also continue to work a day-time job with a growing local electrical contracting company. In 2014 I decided to start this consulting company, Eleven Eleven Consulting Company. I am excited to continue to use my education, experience and passion for events, marketing and organization in new arenas. What's Behind the Name "Eleven Eleven"?
Well, there are a few things, the number 11 has always been my favorite number. Growing up my Grammy and I would always say 11:11 was our special time - when we thought of each other and prayed for each other. And it's also a nod to my passion for soccer where the games is played in number 11v11 (or 3v3 or 5v5). I also am a part-time photographer that specializes in scenery, candid and structural photography.
